Pumpkins, beets and other extra garden produce makes excellent goat feed. What a powerhouse of nutrients!!! The picture below shows my goats devouring a pumpkin. I keep my excess pumpkins in a cool area without letting them freeze over winter and feed all through the cold months. This picture was taken in April 2025, and the pumpkin is from fall 2024.
